NETFLIX BRINGS BACK THE MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS

In late January, it was announced that Netflix is working on a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers reunion and excitement started running high. Memories of watching the Rangers on Sunday mornings on WBS started popping up and any news announced by Netflix about the project was gobbled up by the media. Well, we finally get a first look trailer at the new Power Rangers special celebrating 30 years since the original aired. .
The Power Rangers movie trailer introduces Minh, Trini Kwan’s daughter, who is portrayed by Charlie Kersh. Thuy Trang, who passed away in 2001 following a car accident, portrayed Trini, the first Yellow Ranger. After Trini is slain in a battle, Minh seeks retribution against Rita.
During one sequence, the Green Ranger is shown running bringing up speculations as to who could be under the mask considering that the original Green Ranger actor, Jason David Frank passed away last November.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once And Always debuts on Netflix on April 19.
