Nigerian Music Giant Burnaboy has dropped his new album “I Told Them” today. The Grammy-winning artist’s latest offering is already making waves, showcasing his signature blend of Afrobeat, and hip-hop, cementing his position as a musical trailblazer.
With tracks that traverse themes of love, resilience, and societal change, “I Told Them” is a testament to Burna Boy’s ability to seamlessly fuse rhythm and meaning. The album, comprised of 15 tracks, boasts collaborations with an array of international artists such as Dave J Cole, Byron Messia, Seyi Vibez
The star had made a number of hits that became an anthem in the season for example, his hottest award winning “Last Last” had become the Afro beat anthem in the summer season. He also released his latest single ‘Big 7’ earlier last month, which features a stellar cast of Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA, Busta Rhymes, Junior Mafia, and actor Shameik Moore in the music video.
With all the hits released, the artist became the first African in history to sell out a Stadium in the U.S with a crowd of more 40,000 fans in New York.
Yesterday he received a lot of backlash from fans from Nigeria after making some controversial statements on Nigerian Music and today when he released his album, those that have listened to the new Album can’t help but believe that his work is undeniably good.
