BURNABOY WINS “BEST INTERNATIONAL ACT” BET AWARD 2023

They say tough times birth big success. After receiving a lot of backlash from fans for canceling the Netherlands Concert, this week has come with big wins for Burna Boy.

He has scooped the prestigious award for Best International Act. This Award alone had top icons nominated like Beyonce, Wiz Kid, Ice Spice, Kendrick Lamar among others.

Burnaboy has continued to hold the flag of Africa in the Global scene with his unique sound of Afro fusion.

This is not the first BET award he has won. He has won one in 1019, 2020 & 2021 under the same category and this one has really established him as an icon in the global Entertainment industry & He has extended his record as the most awarded African artistes in the BET awards.

Since 2018 this particular award has been scooped by Nigerians with Davido being the maiden winner of the award.

Burnaboy won this award in absentia, He had not physically attended the BET Awards Ceremony which happened in Los Angeles – USA.
