YOUNG UGANDAN ARTISTES BUZZING SPOTIFY

While every other musician in the industry is whining about how to make it to the top international chats, new talented artistes who have mastered the game are busy releasing music that is actually marketable on the International scene.

It all started with Joshua Baraka releasing a banger “Nana” which attracted attention of listeners on Spotify & in a few weeks, the song had become an International banger. A few months later, top International artistes like Joe Boy and Bien contacted him to do a remix and the song took wings to the International chats.

This season, we have had more Ugandans come up with new music which is actually marketable on the International scene. Soundlykbb is an artiste based in Entebbe & he has also released an EP with music that is highly embraced on the International scene. In his album he has a song called “Bunda Freestyle” with such an amazing sound.  Producers are already eying it as a banger.

Ill Gee is also another artiste known for his banger “Arresting Food” He recently released a new song called Fahari He is also making rounds in the International scene for releasing songs with sounds that sells on the International scene.

Tyra Chantey is another Ugandan artiste based in Sweden. She has released new hits “Yellow” & “Transits” Both songs have hit 1M plays on Spotify.

Kohen Jaycee is also another artiste with such an undeniable talent. He is famously known for his banger “Not Letting Go” He recently promised to release a hot jam on 9^th of June. A few close sources reveal that this song is an assured trend.

The excuse that bubble gam music is all Ugandans understand is no longer buyable Ugandans actually understand music and those that understand how music is impactful have evolved with the International trends and have adopted new sounds for their music and they are making it to the chats quick.
