FORMER UMA PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT KING SAHA NOW APPOINTED AS VICE PRESIDENT.

Former Presidential aspirant of Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) King Saha has been reported to have joined Cindy’s camp as the Vice President of UMA.  This further divides the music industry if Uganda between 2 entities that is, the Federation and the Association plus other small groups.

According to the President Cindy, Saha has been appointed in this position because of his rich experience in the music industry, and commitment to the transformation of the music industry.

The Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) is pleased to announce a significant reshuffle within its Cabinet, Committees, and Secretariat, aimed at invigorating the organization’s efforts in championing the interests of Uganda’s vibrant music industry.

This comes after artistes who had crossed to the federation could not rely on the appointed leaders of the federation. Besides, several legends in the industry too came up and questioned the creation of the Federation as it was something set up and not first discussed with the artistes themselves.

It should be remembered however King Saha was so much against Cindy’s Presidency at the time UMA was holding elections. This sparked off beef between Bebe Cool and King Saha

For the longest of time the Music Industry of Uganda has been built and sustained on differences in opinion and throwing of disses and its no wonder that it is almost impossible for Ugandan artistes to unite and work together for example the “The Battle For The Champion” a beef between Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine that has never healed till this day, we have had Bebe Cool and King Saha, Alien and Pallaso,  Sheebah & Cindy now even in the leadership (UMA & UNMF)
