A BAG OF EPIC SH*T FOR ALIEN SKIN.

After causing a massive wave of support in June, Alien Skin has started testing the original wave of support that comes from unruly Ugandans. He was thrown at poop while performing on stage in Arua. We have seen fans throw bottles but sh*t is at another level.

Alien Skin is one of the artistes that rose as a result of controversy, after having a fight with Pallaso a week towards his love fest concert. Someone filmed the fight and it looked like Pallaso was had Alien pinned to the wall.

Many supported Alien Skin massively condemning Pallaso’s actions. This affected Pallaso’s event because Alien skin used that opportunity to organize a concert on the same day just to prove a point. Alien Skin was supported massively to the point that crowds gathered wherever he would get to.

After the concerts happened, Alien Skin started making controversial statements and seemed too political. He went ahead and attacked Bobi Wine and this put off most of his fans. Ironically, Alien Skin did not recognize that the people who supported him the most were huge supporters of Bobi Wine.

Last night when he went to perform in Arua, someone threw a bag of shit at him while he was trying to interact with his fans on stage. Security took action immediately and started cleaning him up. Right now Alien Skin is trending number one because of this.

All artistes that had supported him in the start started to pull back when he started making politically controversial statements, against Bobi Wine and the successful legendary artiste. This proves Bebe Cool’s words that many artistes today rise to the top so quickly without grooming on how to deal with media.

Some rise up and develop the sense that they are too big to need a management system and yet the management system is not there to limit anyone but to help an artiste grow into their career professionally.

Alien Skin is one of the artists in this category. Where as he made it to the top in an unexpected way, he is having so many challenges with handling his events and media. And now media backlash. This also highlights how people jump to conclusions without context. Clearly the fight we saw on social media between Pallaso and Alien Skin had no context and many jumped to conclusion without getting to hear Pallaso’s side of the story.
