A BREWING BATTLE BETWEEN LEGENDS.

Uganda’s entertainment scene is gradually becoming a space of endless Opera episodes. After getting a feel of Cindy Vs Sheebah, the legends, legends Jose Chameleon and Bebe Cool have agreed to face off in a tight music battle which sounds like a fight of lions in the jungle.

It should be noted however that this will not be Bebe Cool’s first battle. He has had an experience with Bobi Wine in 2010. Jose Chameleone on the other hand will be experiencing his first music battle.

When approached with the proposition, Jose Chameleone, didn’t hesitate, he said he is willing to get to it.  The Icon is famously known for his incredible performance and energy on stage not to mention, the number of hits he has released over the years.

Bebe Cool as well is such a charismatic sensational performer, know for selling un unforgettable experience while performing on stage. He has also released a number of great timeless hits.

Unlike Sheebah and Cindy Sanyu’s battle where it was a younger talent battling with a legendary artiste, this is a battle between legends, who are both talented and intellectually strong and with a strong background in entertainment and music business. This simply means that should a battle happen, everything concerning this battle including interviews and debates must be done by experienced journalists.

Events promote, Balaam Barugahara, known for organizing the biggest events in Uganda and pushing any concert has expressed interest in being part of organizing this battle. This simply shows how these legends are likely to shake East Africa and become the talk on the continent in the Entertainment sector.

The audience and fans are excited for it because they know that having these two legends is an assured piece of work that no one would miss for any reason. Fans said, buying a ticket to this concert is like getting an 80% discounted offer in an apple store.

Some critiques on the other hand also can’t help but express that these two do not need to do a battle they have had the names they have made success with their career so a battle is really childish and unnecessary.

As long as the battle is about music and not showing off success then the battle is really necessary because if we look back at some of the music battles we have had especially the Battle if Champions between Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine, most of this was about showing off success and not music but this time round, the game has changed and what fans are expecting to see is music and performance not a showcase of success.
