THE HUMBLE BEGINNINGS OF BEBECOOL & ZUENA.

Today, one of the celebrity couples Bebe Cool & Zuena have celebrated 20 years in marriage. Unlike the common celebrity weddings that make headlines, Bebe Cool and Zuena had a very simple wedding. It was so simple that Bebe Cool was wearing a T-shirt on his wedding and his wife was wearing a casual simple dress and just like the two were declared husband and wife in a court room.

This wedding is what one would call a family’s humble beginning. However, as we speak today, the couple can afford a wedding shop if they wanted to start one and Zuena herself owns a bakery that literally bakes cakes for all functions. Their story is the best example to give to any young person in this generation.

Zuena and Bebecool celebrated their wedding anniversary in a very glamorous way. Zuena was dressed in a flawless white wedding gown and Bebe Cool in dazzling black suit. Zuena posted their picture of their simple wedding saying “On this day 20 years ago, we exchanged our vows. With no money to buy a white gown & a proper suit (white wedding), nothing was going to stop us.

We left home and hit the road to go exchange our vows. We arrived at Crane Chambers at 1pm and by 3pm we were married 🥹

The excitement is nothing I can explain, @bebecool_ug now started calling me mukyala around the house even for unnecessary reasons 😂

Am glad that 20yrs down the road, we have stuck to each other and are truly enjoying marriage. You are my friend before my husband and I guess that’s what’s keeping us going.

Every year that passes, I get to realize how lucky I am to be your wife.”

THE LESSON:

No matter how small your start may be it doesn’t mean it won’t bear fruit. If you focus on living the life other than showing off the life you can make it.

To the Ladies, there is no Mr. Perfect on earth, find one you are safe and comfortable with and build a life together. By the time Bebe Cool was marrying Zuena, he was a struggling musician but Zuena decided to build a life with him which is what we are celebrating today.

To the Gentlemen, having too many wives is not what makes you a man, being with one wife and working hard to make your lives better and creating a secure environment for your children to live in comfortably, and stepping up to your responsibilities is what makes you a man.

Lastly to all the Celebrities, looking at who Bebe Cool and Zuena have become after all these years, it is clear that building a family as a celebrity is possible. Being a Celebrity is simply a job, and your family is a non-negotiable, it always has to come first.
