Former President of the Uganda Musicians Association Ykee Benda says he supports Eddy Kenzo to lead the musicians. In an Interview with Crysto Panda, Ykee Benda speaks out of maturity towards Eddy Kenzo’s leadership regardless of the remarks he once said about him when he was the President of the Uganda Musicians Association.
It should be noted that when Ykee Benda was given leadership of the Uganda Musicians Association Eddy Kenzo spoke some controversial words towards his leadership.
Kenzo said that “Ykee Benda was too young and inexperienced to lead the Uganda Musicians Association”
When Ykee Benda was asked if he supported Kenzo he said “Absolutely, I support Kenzo because leadership is a service its not about how well educated you are, but how you serve the people you lead”
He explained that by the time Kenzo said what he said, he had a lot going on and he apologized for making those statements so I can’t hold a grudge on him.
“I have never felt disrespected in the presence of Kenzo, he respects me he loves my work and we are good. “I believe that Kenzo is the best candidate for Ugandan Musicians because he has a heart of service.” He adds.
