ED SHEERAN THREATENS TO QUIT MUSIC

Ed Sheeran is one of the biggest artists to come out of the 2010s. With numerous number one singles, Sheeran is not a force to take lightly. But recently he has had legal problems stemming from his 2014 single, “Thinking Out Loud.”

The singer was sued for copying the 1973 smash-hit “Let’s Get It On”, by Marvin Gaye.

Sheeran has strongly maintained that any resemblances between his 2014 hit and Gaye’s 1973 song are merely coincidental and that such resemblances were too frequent to amount to copyright infringement.

While in court on Monday, the singer said,”If that happens, I’m done, I’m stopping,” in regards to him losing the trial.

Whether the verdict in court will affect his upcoming “Mathematics Tour,” is yet to be seen.
