THE BIG THREE TO MAKE A COMEBACK?

The Big Three have dominated the Ugandan music industry for the past 20 years. Comprising of Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine and Chameleone, the “Big Three” are widely regarded as legends in the music industry not only in Uganda, but East Africa at large.

The trio came in just the right time as the industry was shifting and artists were starting to make more money from live performances. This plus drive and talent are what made the three have such a lasting legacy.

In recent years however, they have each taken different paths in life. Bobi Wine joined politics and Chameleone has stuck in the music industry and had a sold-out concert earlier this year at Luggogo Cricket Oval. Bebe Cool has become a proud advocate for musicians in the country speaking on issues affecting the industry.

Chameleone has come out to speak on the current status of the Big Three. The “Badilisha” singer challenged the other two to start afresh. The goal of this is to acknowledge who truly is still winning in the music business. Chameleone further indicated how he intends to release new music as soon as possible.
